Renewal proposals

This is what comes back.

You send. We prepare. You review. A finished renewal proposal in your agency's brand, ready to go to your client once you OK it. You choose the shape it takes.

The covers of the four renewal proposal layouts side by side
Premium  ·  Full  ·  Letter  ·  Brief

Every one of them carries your agency's brand. Never ours.

How it runs

You send. We prepare. You review.

Nothing changes about how your team works. The renewal emails come in as they arrive, and we work them.

That is the whole loop. Nothing reaches your client until you have approved it.

01

You send

The renewal emails come in as they arrive. Your account manager does not reformat anything or fill in a form first.

02

We prepare

Expiring policy against the renewal quotes. Every change in coverage, limits, deductibles and premium, laid out in your letterhead and house style.

03

You review

It comes back fast, ready to send to your client under your name, or to hand off to your agency management system.

The layouts

You choose which one.

There is no better one. Each carries the same work and the same facts. What changes is how it reads to the client in front of you, so pick whichever suits the account, and change your mind whenever you like.

These four are where agencies usually start, not the end of it. If what you want is not here, we build it with you. And length is never the question: a proposal runs as long as the renewal takes. Two policies is short. A twelve-location schedule is not.

The samples below were built for agencies that do not exist. Every agency, client, carrier, figure and date in them is invented.

Premium

A designed cover

The figures land as tiles on the opening spread, then the detail behind them. For a board, an association, or any renewal you present in a room.

Shown as HarborStone Risk Advisors, cyber liability.

Premium layout, first three pages

Full

This year, renewal, change

Those three across the top, then the premium summary, what you need from the client, and the key dates. The everyday multi-line renewal.

Shown as Brightwater Insurance Agency, four policies.

Full layout, first three pages

Letter

A signed cover letter

From the account manager, with the detail behind it. For clients who expect a letter, and for renewals that turn on a checklist of dates.

Shown as Saltmarsh Insurance Advisors, property and liability.

Letter layout, first three pages

Brief

The change as one figure

Then the decisions and the options exactly as quoted. For a risk manager or a broker who wants the numbers and nothing else.

Shown as Halvorsen & Reed Insurance, five professional lines.

Brief layout, first three pages

Same facts, same work. How it lands with your client is the part you choose.

In every proposal

Five things that do not change.

Whichever layout you pick, and whatever we match to your house style, these five hold.

  1. 01

    Facts only

Every figure is taken from the policy and the quotes, as they are printed on the documents.

  2. 02

    Nothing is inferred

If the documents do not say it, the proposal does not say it either. Where something is missing, it says so rather than guessing.

  3. 03

Anything worth a second look is flagged on the front

A short note to your account manager, not to your client, naming the few things to check on that renewal. On a clean one it says there is nothing. Delete it before you send.

  4. 04

We stay off your client relationship

Anise never contacts your insured, never recommends coverage or a carrier, and takes no part of a commission. Every licensed act stays with your staff.

  5. 05

    Your brand, not ours

Your letterhead, your logo, your type. Our name appears nowhere your client can see it, including the document properties and the file name.

You are the agency on every page. We are the desk behind it.

Setting it up

One session sets it up.

We sit down with you once. Your branding, the shape you want, and which sections go in it. Show us one proposal your team is proud of and we work from that.

One session at the start. After it, they arrive that way without anyone asking.

What we set in that session

  • Your letterhead, your logo, your type and colours
  • Which shape your proposals take
  • Which sections go in, and which you never want to see
  • The order they come in
  • What you call things, down to the labels
  • Which lines you lead with

What stays

  • The figures exactly as the documents state them
  • The note on the front when something needs a look
  • The sources behind every figure
  • The five above

Next

See one end to end.

Thirty minutes. Bring a renewal your team has already sent, and we will walk through what it would have looked like coming back from us. Want the full sample proposal to read on your own time? Ask on the call and we will send it across.
